Services

If you have concerns regarding your child’s speech and language development, it is always best to consult with a speech-language pathologist. In doing so, the speech therapist can help you determine one of two things:

  1. Whether or not your child’s skills are age-appropriate, which will help put your mind at ease. I may offer additional home suggestions to ensure that your child’s speech and language continues to progress and develop.

  2. If your child is identified with a communication delay and speech and language services are recommended, a treatment plan will be developed and services may begin.

Early intervention is key and brings about the best outcomes.

All therapy sessions are individual and conducted in my office at Simply Speech & Language Services at 9453 Kochville Rd., Freeland, MI 48623.

  • Therapy sessions are usually 30-60 minutes long, with the last 5-10 minutes of each session reserved for parent training.

  • Session length and frequency will be determined based on your child’s age and level of need.

  • Your involvement in the therapy sessions is an important part to generalize new skills taught.
